On Saturday I was shooting for the promotion of One World Week Fashion Show – ‘Imaginarium’ – held by University of Warwick. I feel blessed as I have been selected for their official photographer and sponsor for 2015. The fashion show photo-shoot was based around 4 themes: Alegria – clowns, Amaluna – romantic, Temarario – daredevils, Zaia – animal prints. The models were students who have been selected by the casting crew and who will rock the actual catwalk on 30th January. I had absolutely amazing time taking photographs and getting to know some of the fresh faces of fashion. All locations were chosen in advance at suitable spots in Royal Leamington Spa.
As you can imagine it was a very busy day, we started at 9am and finished about 5pm when it was pitch dark already. I wound’t be able to thank enough to all who made it happen – the student team, the two MUA-s: Marie Hoban (with whom I worked on ‘Vintage Glamour’ shoot the previous week) and Satti from Lipgloss Makeup, and of course my assistant-photographer from Caramelfox.
Surprise of the day was that Gayatri Kapur from my ‘Queen of frogs‘ shoot, was one of the models. Small world! She was part of the Alegria team and was wearing a bright green dress and had a clown themed makeover.
I am seriously tempted to show you some of the results but should hold on as the retouching work on the whole project is still under way. Will keep you posted ;)
P.S.: On the feature photograph you can see a little buddy who was keen to join the show :)
